Design Features

The HDY and BTD impellers are radial flow type stirrers, with blades designed in concave arc and parabolic shapes, respectively. These designs provide exceptional radial displacement and dispersion capabilities. At the same power level, the mass transfer coefficient is over 30% higher than that of flat-blade disc turbines, and gas retention capacity is improved by more than 40%. Furthermore, they operate with significantly lower power consumption. As a result, these impellers are particularly suitable for oxygen transfer processes such as fermentation and other operations that require gas dispersion, absorption, mixing, and mass transfer.
