Supervision Service for A Macromolecular material Project in Jiangsu Finished

      In May 2024, the service engineer of Greatwall Mixers provided on-site supervision services for agitators of a Macromolecular material project in Jiangsu. These agitators are mainly applied in producing TAC film.

      TAC film, short for Triacetyl Cellulose, is a high-quality film widely used in optical, electronic, medical, and other fields. Here are several applications of TAC film: 1.Used in the manufacturing of LCD and OLED displays. TAC film is mainly used to protect LCD polarizers, serving as a protective film for polarizing plates to protect and phase-compensate. TAC film has high transparency and hardness, effectively protecting the screen without losing clarity, while also having high scratch and wear resistance. 2.Used in products such as eyeglass lenses, sunglasses, LED luminaires, optical instruments, etc. TAC film has properties such as flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, and anti-static, which can prevent electronic products from overheating after long-term use, thereby improving the lifespan of the equipment. Used in products such as artificial joints, contact lenses, medical instruments, etc. The market demand for TAC film is rising with the emergence of new technologies and the continuous expansion of the market.

      Selection and Design

      In the project's design phase, a plate-frame mixer was ultimately selected based on the customer's process requirements and parameters such as material density, viscosity, operating temperature, and pressure. The plate-frame mixer is an efficient mixing impeller with a wide range of viscosity applications. The impeller has a simple structure, and its projected area on the longitudinal section of the mixing tank is large. It has high mixing efficiency and significant shear force, suitable for solid-liquid suspension, liquid-liquid dispersion, and gas-liquid mass transfer and heat transfer operations.
